The pre-order for the upcoming Resident Evil 5 is now live on Impulse.  Those in the Americas and Asia are now able to pre-order the game which is set for release on September 15th. Resident Evil 5 will become available for the rest of the world on September 18th.

In Resident Evil 5, the biohazard threat has not ended. Just when it seemed that the menace of Resident Evil had been destroyed, along comes a new terror. Chris Redfield, returning Resident Evil hero, has followed the path of the evil literally around the globe. After joining a new organization, Chris heads to Africa where the latest bioterrorism threat is literally transforming the people and animals of the city into mindless, maddened creatures. Players will now have to fear the daylight as much as the night.

It'd better have mouse support.

I'm sure it does. Keep in mind this is Capcom doing the port this time, and if their last few games are any indication and not to mention the benchmark for this game, this one's going to be just as great.

That abonimation of a port that RE4 was, was not made by Capcom, but rather outsourced to another company.

According to the IGN review I skimmed,

I'll have to investigate what sort of experience I'd actually be able to get with my Athlon X2 2.1 Ghz processor, but I'm sure I'll be getting this at some point. Glad I'll be able to buy through Impulse.

Your agreement with capcom it's not so good.

I'll go retail even this time

I'm afraid I didn't really care for RE: 5. I felt like the only reason I was having fun was because I was with friends whom I always have a good time with. That time could have been much better spent on Demigod, if they would just get some solid computers
