Become a fan!
Published on July 8, 2009 By Island Dog In Elemental News

We have setup a fan page on Facebook for the upcoming PC game, Elemental: War of Magic.  The fan page on Facebook is another place fans can get together and post article, links, etc. about Elemental.  We will also have some giveaways in the future as well, so you definitely don’t want to miss out on that!

If you are on Facebook, just head over to the page and hit the “become a fan” button.  See you there!

man, not many people comment on news.    I guess there isn't much to generate coversation though.   just like... "I'm a fan" and that doesn't even really need to be said for most people.

Where's the beta? It seems as though it's out but I have no access even though I purchased it .

It's not yet out...

And you may have pre-ordered, but until you're actually charged, you can't call it 'purchased'.

Haha, I'm pretty darn sure I was charged already for the game. That's what preordering is, it's putting down your money for something that hasn't come out yet.

Secondly, what was the newsletter saying then that the beta is out for testing?

No, you weren't.  I don't remember the technical terms, but all Impulse does is ask your bank / credit card company 'does this card have sufficient funds for this purchase?'  Some banks / credit cards (most, actually) will put a hold on the funds that may show as a charge (for example, Well's Fargo will show it as a 'pending' transaction in my online statement), but that will usually drop within a day or two (banks vary, talk to them for specifics).

I haven't seen that yet...  But I do know that the beta is coming up 'soon', within the next few weeks (before the end of summer is the exact phrasing, and that's something like the 21st)

Great!
