How can America really last until the next election?  Obama and his dem allies have already made the economy worse, and billions and billions in more taxes will only lead to more unemployment.  I wonder if those businesses who supported Obama are now saying….”we did what”?

June 12 (Bloomberg) -- Health-care overhaul legislation being drafted by House Democrats will include $600 billion in tax increases and $400 billion in cuts to Medicare and Medicaid, Ways and Means Committee Chairman Charles Rangel said.

Democrats will work on the bill’s details next week as they struggle through “what kind of heartburn” it will cause to agree on how to pay for revamping the health-care system, Rangel, a New York Democrat, said today. The measure’s cost is reaching well beyond the $634 billion President Barack Obama proposed in his budget request to Congress as a 10-year down payment for the policy changes.

Asked whether the cost of a health-care overhaul would be more than $1 trillion over a decade, Rangel said, “the answer is yes.” Some Senate Republicans, including Senator Orrin Hatch of Utah, say the costs will likely exceed $1.5 trillion.

Makes me wonder if 5% of our nations working force can aford these taxes, then again anyone dumb enough to believe Obama will only tax the highest 5% are dumber that they appear.

Nothing will change until the majority that voted him and the Democratic Congress members start to feel the actual pain. Sorry to say that will include many more of their employers throwing in the towel and prices on everyday items increasing to pass the costs on.

You know I have to laugh. I clearly remember the left scarring the senior citizens when Bush proposed a private accounts along side social security. Now Medicare and Medicaid will be crippled to pay the insurances costs baby machines, and others that don't want to pay for their own health care. Wonder how much senior support he will have after this? Maybe they will all die in the hospital waiting line and solve that problem before next election.

Went to the AARP website to see what the old timers think. I was surprised that many feel AARP is in the tank for Obama. I couldn't find anything from the organization expressing an opinion (which seems strange to me). The comments give the real answer. LINK. I realize the age group demographics on JU is probably around late 20's - early 30's. These are your parents and grand parents. If health care is destroyed for them, what will be left for you or your children?
