If you have ever been interested in 3D and how to create beautiful landscape scenes, then I have always recommended the Vue product line.  It has been my favorite for many years due to its render quality, ease of use, and low entry price.

I just noticed today that they are now offering a free personal learning edition, and also a free edition called Vue Pioneer.  Now remember both of these have limitations, so read carefully and don’t expect them to be a full version.  However, this is a good way to get started and decide if the investment is right.

If you need some examples of some works from Vue, check out Kenwas’ gallery and others works here on WinCustomize.

I tried this many months ago and was disappointed that you couldn't create unwatermarked renders--unless you pay $80 for a plugin or get the next version up the scale, which allows the importation of 3D models, at $199. For a hobby that I may not end up being very good at, that's a hefty investment.
