man, too bad I have most of those.  Titan quest for $4 is such a good deal!

I find myself buying games in advance... I always had the plan to buy Defender of the Crown, but I'm still too busy with Galciv II and Space Rangers II. Wait until I'm bored with those games or buy now? Normally it would have been "wait", but at $3.99......

If you were going to buy TitanQuest, would you hunker down for the expansion too?

Is that a question to Island Dog, or a general one? Because if you're asking me.. At that price.. Hell yes.

That is a fantastic deal for TitanQuest, it is a very cool game.  The expansion is also nice.

I really hated Titan Quest demo. Boring as hell, so i'm not going to buy ther game, even if so cheap.

What about Defender of the Crown, instead?

Someone played it? It's a nice remake or what?

You guys are bastards.

I just couldn't resist picking up the DOW expansion...  4.2 gigs.

On my daily capped satellite connection...

HA HA HA

it just hit me...  IMPULSE BUYS!!!     $5 software!   its an impulse buy! on impulse!  oh the pun is so bad!

@Tucobenidicto - yeah, the titan quest demo was bad.   It doesn't compare to the finished (in fact, the finished doesn't compare to the expansion, which added many little tweeks to make the game playable).  You really need both titan quest AND the expansion before the game is really worth it.  At which point it is.   I have more faith that most people will enjoy it more than diablo 3 (but I'm biased.  D3 looks really average right now from where I'm sitting.  Maybe they will delay it for 5 years to completely redo everything and it will be better than D2)

*I'm still chuckling at how long it took me to get that joke.  like, man, I bet the guy next to me could hear those rusty gears start turning when that happened.  2 days to get the pun  -facepalm- I need to play more brain age or something*

On my daily capped satellite connection...

Hey psychoak. Haven't we shared a HughesNet rant before? My limit is 350 megs/day. I have never been able to get a straight answer as to what this means exactly, but no matter. Where I live, (CST) from 2am to 5am, the cap limit is lifted. Even so, at my average download speed at that time (~180 KB/sec) I just might be able to download that much in two all-night sessions. Props to you bro; you are a true gamer.

~2GB over 14.4k, call it three years ago.

~14 days, 24/7.

Game over.

Sorry psychoak.

I have 465 or something.  As to what that means, it's not real hard to figure out.

If you hit your cap in a rolling 24 hour period, they throttle your ass for the next 24 hours.

If customer service didn't suck donkey balls they could tell you, but they don't know themselves.  I got to T3 tech support once and they still didn't have internet access.  Couldn't even check to see if I was connected for themselves.  It sucked too, I nearly made it to the vip tech support.  The guy sent it to the engineering department first and they finally realized what I told them from the start and turned the NOC side firewall back off so I could send and recieve secure connections again.  One of these days, I hope to see if their top level support staff can operate their own system...

Sole Soul, when I think about using bit torrent to get something that big, I plan for weeks use too.  It's all in the medium...

That's why CDs and DVD aren't completely replaced by the net yet. (Pun intended.)

For you guys using Hughes satellite check this out http://www.copperhead.cc/fap.htm Give you some info the FAP. I use to be stuck with satellite. I got my system back when it first went to a 2 way system back in 2001 I think it was. Had it till 2004 when I got DSL. I thought it sucked back then with the FAP the way it was then. I read on how it works now and I really feel bad for you guys stuck on it.

Back when I had it that site I linked was a life saver. Had lots of tips, tricks and great info on it. Haven't been around there in years though so no idea what it's like now. Hope that helps you guys out some.
