Now let me make it clear from the start that I’m just looking for feedback on features you would like to see for WindowBlinds in Windows 7.  Many people are trying the Windows 7 beta, and through your experiences so far, is there anything different you would like to see WB try to accomplish?

Please be specific and screenshots and mockups would definitely be welcome.

This isn't Windows 7 specific, I'd like the ability to re-use elements better. It's annoying to have to continually re-create the same arrows, buttons, borders, etc for something that is basically the same except with a different image count.

1. A custom context menu with the available custom coloring profiles (quick color profile change) from the WB bar icon

2. Support for Windows Theme Packs

Well question would be are we looking for Win 7 specific or working conpatability across OS's

I personally would like to see blinds support Directwrite and Direct2d.

Write brings in Support for better font support. as well as font acceleration.

2d offers other optimizations although I don't know how well it would integrate with the work done to accelerate wb.

I always liked that windows and taskbar were completely remoddable so they didn't look the same. It wasn't just colour, it was different shapes.

I would like the option to move the start menu button and the clock and the systray around, although I guess that could be modded to a stale state, and a variable state should be done by MS.

Windows 7 has new stuff for setting up multimonitor setups, I would like an option to have different backgrounds on those monitors.

I am pretty happy what windowblinds does now, its stable and does what i want, is there really much more you can do with it? you can  make your desktop complex, or keep it simple doesnt get any better than that, then again, it doesnt take much to make me happy

Not sure if this can be done, but make it easier to make clean styles like the regular VS.

I'd like to see this possible:

Use GLASS scrollbar images for the scrollbars on the taskbar and on fences. And pleeaase sort out the "Non-Captioned Window edge" (used for Window Previews in Vista). And I'd like to be able to skin the background of the Alt-Tab switcher. I'd also like transparency and blur in "taskbar group menus" and "start menu pop up menus". Also, use MASKS to tell glass windows, the start menu, taskbar and other glass areas where to blur thus enabling completely transparent blurred start menu and other menus, irregularly shaped windows and completely.
