The only change is spending more money on programs that are useless.... on top of the fact that the spin doctors already set him up by saying that the reccesion has been going on for over a year when up to then they were saying that we were just getting into one.... amazin how a month or 2 turned into a year shortly after.

I dont have problems with him spending this money on the party.... though its kinda funny because he should be spreading that wealth of his right here... after all that is what he ran on... he should instead give this money to the Gov in form of a tax payment so they can spend it better.

This whole thing with Joe Biden being offered whichever position he wanted pisses me off more than a little bit.  It's like how things run in my school district--"Hey, you suck as an administrator, so we'll take you out of your school, move you to central office, and make you an even more powerful administrator, but one who doesn't have to deal with parents and students."

Both my wife and I have always been sentimental patriots.  I still get tears in my eyes during the National Anthem at times.  This year she is a bit wrapped up in the emotion and 'historical significance' of the moment, which I understand.  I have a much more sober view of today's events.  I'd be more interested if the media weren't such slobbering sycophants for BO.  I'm a little concerned he's going to start buying in to what he reads & hears (on the off chance he hasn't already).  The only silver lining may be that he'll have a chance to break Pelosi, the most dangerous person in America and the only one who's ego is bigger than BO's.

Cultish is right.  They did a segment on the news of a single mom with 5 kids making the trek across country to just be in the vicinity.  She just lost her job and financially isn't doing very well but couldn't resist driving across the country to watch this live even though she admitted she probably wouldn't really be seeing a thing because she'll be way too far back. 

What gets me is watching her with her kids standing in the cold with a two month old baby just to say she was there.   I just watched the segment with a "you've got to be kidding me" look on my face.........

I do think people have lost their senses. 

I have no idea what any of you are talking about.  Obama has promised to bring change and change he will bring.  Obama will be the savior of our great nation.  He will undo all the wrongs that have every been done in this nation.  Obama is good, Obama is great, Obama can do no wrong.

i learned my lesson bout presidential coins and plates 8 years ago.   i bought one of those $100 bush coins.  it just keeps getting less valuable.   someone said if i ran it over with a steamroller, it might work as a plate.
