The NPD group has published the top 20 best selling games of 2008, and Sins of a Solar Empire is on that list at number 14!  It should be noted also that this list does not count downloadable copies, which Sins also did an incredible amount of.

“Mention must also be made of Sins of a Solar Empire, the best selling strategy game in 2008 in retail stores and number 14 on 2008's list. Considering that the title reportedly sold well in downloadable copies in addition to its retail sales, both Ironclad Games and Stardock must be happy”

Congrats, but I think Blizzard might have had a better year

Seriously, seven of the top 20, and four of the top ten? Especially since 5 of them have been out for at least two years!

Congrats, I didn't realize how well Sins did. It's good to see that the little guys can still compete with the big boys. I'm looking forward to all of your future releases!
