The latest edition of the Demigod Developer on RPG Vault at IGN.com is now out.  Demigod is the upcoming real-time tactical strategy game from developer Gas Powered Games, and published by Stardock.

Diary #2 focuses on the single-player aspect of Demigod.

“These days, it gets very tempting for developers to forget how many people play these kinds of games exclusively single-player. That's why we made a great deal of effort to not just create the standard campaign for Demigod, but something they would continue to enjoy over and over. Sure, there's still the sandbox skirmish mode too, but for those who want an on-going single-player experience, this title really shines.”

I am glad to see single player getting the attention it deserves. I had preordered as much out of support for SD/GPG and their stances on gaming issues as anything, but was worried that I might not get much actual play out of it as I don't do multi. Good to see my fears quelled. Thanks Guys
