Put a virtual aquarium on your desktop!
Published on November 13, 2008 By Island Dog In WinCustomize News

Stardock is pleased to announce the release of Aquarium Desktop 2009.  Don’t bother with a screensaver which you hardly ever see, when Aquarium Desktop offers a realistic “virtual” fish tank right on your desktop.  Aquarium Desktop has animated fish and plants that swim and move across your desktop while your work.

It has been fully updated to work with Windows Vista, and features include:

  • Add plants, anchors, debris, and even a treasure chest to your desktop.
  • Options to configure type and quantity of fish, shadows, sounds, and more!
  • CPU-smart! Will not use CPU if fish are covered (it won't slow down your system).
  • Totally cool looking WindowBlinds skin included!

Aquarium Desktop includes a variety of 3D rendered plants and fish, and separate fish packs are available to expand Aquarium Desktop even further.  Aquarium Desktop 2009 also includes a WindowBlinds skin to complete the transformation of your desktop into a virtual aquarium.

If you just prefer to have the full MyColors theme, that is also available here.  Aquarium Desktop 2009 is available for $9.95, and Object Desktop subscribers get a 20% discount.  More information can be found at www.stardock.com/products/aquarium/.

"Also included is a full MyColors theme for free!"

Is it the MyColors Aquarium Desktop theme? Mostly not! Can we have details and screenshot of that MyColors Desktop theme?

Thanks

Hey ID, I have been upgraded to 2009 from 2007, see nothing for the MyColors theme in Impulse or MyColors config., is it only for new purchases.

Edit: Hey ID, nevermind found the link to extras on my account page.

I never did get a reply. I try to put my registration # in impulse and it won't take it. I can't upgrade my 2007 to 2009 if it won't take my #.

I never did get the MyColors theme. "Aquarium Desktop 2009 also includes a MyColors theme". I registered it awhile ago and still no MyColors theme shows up.  Did they change they're minds about the MyColors theme going with this??

Email sales@stardock.com

They should be able to clarify anything.

I'm using dual displays and I use UltraMon to handle a bunch of dual display settings. One problem I'm facing is that UltraMon sets a different desktop background for omaha poker online each monitor, but installing Fences seems to disable that.Any work-arounds?

I never did get the MyColors theme. "Aquarium Desktop 2009 also includes a MyColors theme".

That is actually not correct and should have been updated (which I will do now).  It doesn't include the entire theme, it includes the WB for aquarium.
