We did some big housecleaning today, and going through some stuff I found a few old Star Trek games for the Commodore 64.  These were text based games where you would type in commands and the text story would “react” to it and either make you try again, or proceed with the story.  They were really fun though, and I remember the game taking like 30 minutes to load each section.

Star Trek games for C64

The bad thing is the disks are no where to be found, but it was cool to find some games I played back when the C64 was the thing.

I'm sure you can find files and convenient emulator somewhere.

Technically illegal but it's not likely that someone would sue you or anything.

I had a Lord of the Rings game for the C64. Never actually finished it though. It had shields to show armies or individuals from the story.

i may in fact be younger than the C64. if not i'm probably contemporary. but in either case, i'm willing to bet those were some of the best ST games ever.

Well he clearly owned a C64 at some point, AND owned the games, so how the bloody hell would that be illegal?
