Re-cap from the week
Published on October 17, 2008 By Island Dog In WinCustomize News

We have had quite a busy week here at WinCustomize, and with Stardock as a whole.  I thought today would be a good time to do a re-cap of this weeks news, just in case you missed some of it earlier.

  • GUI Champs 2008 Begins.  The 2008 GUI Championships have begun, and this year we have over $15,000 in cash and prizes.  Categories this time around are WindowBlinds skins, Animated Wallpapers (.dreams), and Icon Packs.  Visit www.guichamps.com for more info.

  • WinCustomize Member Survey.  We are conducting a quick survey for WinCustomize members to get an idea of the current state of WinCustomize, and how we can make improvements for the next version.  It only takes a few minute, so please take a moment and fill out the survey

  • Halloween Theme Released.  A new Halloween theme was released for WinCustomize subscribers, and a MyColors version for Object Desktop subscribers.  Get the details here.

  • Stardock 2008 Report.  Stardock released it's 2008 customer report to the public, and gives a look back at 2008 and what’s ahead in the coming year.  View the report here.

  • WinCustomize Maintenance.  Next week, WinCustomize will be moved to new servers in Chicago to help with the speed issues some are experiencing.  Early next week there might be periods of slowness and hiccups during the move.
