Spooky themes!
Published on October 7, 2008 By Island Dog In WinCustomize News

Halloween is approaching, so I wanted to start featuring some Halloween inspired skins to help you get your “spooky” desktop going. There are a great amount of Halloween skins in the various galleries, but I thought I would start off with cursor themes for today.  To use these themes, you will need to download CursorFX, which is the best way to change the Windows cursors.

And this one as well. Haunted is probably my favorite Halloween curser. Mainly because it isn't a huge one, and the graffics are great(well, to me they are), and the fact that AP_67 is the creator of them...

Speaking of......where is he?

I like a cursor called X-SKH by JJ.Ying. Sorry....don't know how to add the link to it....but if you search Cursor FX and type in X-SKH (in the search box) you can find this cursor. It's a skeleton hand that moves. Love it!! Thank you for the other posts....for I found some great different Halloween cursors. BOO!!!!!

Hello, I have a general question about using CursorFX and the trails. I just swtiched to it from CursorXP and I miss the ability to use the various trails in CursorXP, like the halloween ones listed above. Is it no longer possible to use the various .png files as trails in CursorFX? I really enjoy the new CursorFX but miss the ability to use more trails than just the few defined by default. Am I missing something or is it no longer possible? Thanks for any informtaion in advance. P.S. I really enjoy the Hautned cursor too as a Halloween cursor.

The new CFX has a different trail mechanism.  So you can use trails . . just not CXP ones.

Talking about great cursors . . Stardock's own Seabass created a master pak of three cursors one of which is called "Ghoul".  It is awesome!  It's priced at $4.95 but WC subscribers geta discount.

Check it out!
