The betas for WindowBlinds 6.3 and SkinStudio 6.3 are now available on both Stardock Central and Impulse. This comes at a perfect time as the 2008 GUI Champs starts in just over a month! The most notable feature in this release is the new skinning option for layer blends, and the improved tree view and maximized edit windows in SkinStudio.
Other features and improvements in this beta are:
- Support for a number of blending modes for layers
- Breadcrumb bar text positioning no longer changes depending on if the window is maximized
- Do not shift text when button pressed skin option (edit in SKS)
- 64 bit has had some tweaks to handle bad sizing of the addressbar
- Shadow effect now works on very transparent things like the diamond taskbar clock text.
