It has been a moderate week as far as tech news goes. No real big breaking news, but I wanted to give a roundup of news that I came across that might interest you as well.
- Microsoft is continuing work on Windows Live FolderShare. This week they introduced a new Windows client which is now available for download. FolderShare is a service that allows you to keep files synced with various computers.
- Apple has seeded iTunes 7.7 to developers and there is hints that the next version will include the ability to control iTunes through your iPhone/iPod Touch. This will reportedly be a free application available in the App Store.
- Google starts testing the new iGoogle. The new iGoogle is being rolled out to a few accounts for testing, and some of the more notable changes include tabs being moved to the left side, and has more social network-like functionality to it.
- Bill Gates last day at Microsoft is today. There will be plenty of perspectives on this today, but regardless, Gates last day of being the full time leader at Microsoft is coming to an end today.
