It's a 9!

With the boxed version of Sins being released in the UK recently, gameSlave takes a detailed look at Sins of a Solar Empire.

Using their very own Iron Forge engine, the rookie developer has managed to re-define 'space strategy' by using a delicate combination of control, innovation and sheer scale. Trying to make the physics of a game feel as real and as plausible as possible, whilst still making it fun to play, is a delicate balancing act - yet Ironclad does it oh so well.

I saw it today on shelves in Zavvi. Looked good It even has a corner saying "Top of the Charts in the USA!" The screenshots at the back looked impressive but are not really representative of the view the gamer will be using all the time I guess marketing trumps usability at that level.

Had the game since Monday now. Really pleased. First game was a bit of a fact finder. 11.5 hours in all, well spent.

When I first got the game I thought it was going to be EPIC well the ships just stay there shooting at eachother...it was an awsome game anyways. The graphics, the effects, the races ( I hate the Advent!).... It has so much more. Great job StarDock and IronClad. It is epic in a way though.
