The Left Supporting Ahmadinejad

I spent some time reading comments and postings on various sites that lean towards the left, regarding the visit of Irans leader Ahmadinejad. I was simply amazed to find the amount of support for him among the left. They were truely offended that the President of Columbia University tried to "insult" him, and many people offered sympathy for him.

As I have said before, the left has some type of irrational facination with dictators that I really just don't understand. I would assume the left identifies with him because he shares the same hatred for Bush as the left does.

Here are some of the comments:

"I'm starting to really like this man. He's taking the only real option: to petition to the minds of American citizens and put his "sane" face on."

"I agree with iran, their not a threat, the only threat is the us of a"

I really have to say the far left in this country is just insane. What's even more troubling is the far left is the base of the democrats, and have firm grip on the candidates.

I just returned from Kyrgyzstan (Central Asia) and I am more and more convinced that most American's (namely the left leaning) act like spoiled greedy brats. Kyrgyzstan is a very poor country but I saw so many smiling faces. Sure they aren't HAPPY about their living situation but they find contentment in what they have while working to improve.

The other thing I am noticing is that the left seems to blindly support genocide. I say that because of who they align themselves with. Also they support socialism which anyone who studies Communism in USSR will know there was more people murdered under Lenin and Stalin than Hitler. Iran has openly spoke out against Israel being a one bomb state. They support Hezbulah and Chamas. The list goes on.

And they say the righties are the Nazis?

In light of your article. I am amazed at how Hillary Clinton on FNS would not admit it to be distasteful that the Iranian pres speaks at Columbia.

Now Ahmadinejad is now questioning on who really did the 9/11 attacks. Maybe a smart move to gain more lib support from the conspiracy theorists.

Also notable, if not surprising, is the level of grammatical and spelling errors they seem to be unaware of. Which does lend support to the article recently that showed them signing up in droves to ban Women's Suffrage and DihyroMonoxide.

They are a bunch of mindless idiots. Useful, there is no doubt. I guess why the real megalomaniacs are on the left. They have a willing and eager empty headed base.
