YouTube is the top video submission site today, there's no doubt about that.  I use it to host my video demos and other video projects, but one thing I have never liked about YouTube was the "look" of the video player.

Well YouTube has introduced a custom video player which  you can "customize" to your liking.  Looking through the options you can select and apply a new theme,  change the player layout, and choose the contents of your custom player.

There doesn't appear to be a whole lot of themes at the moment, but I'm sure more options will appear eventually.  I'm going to try it out a bit more, but it looks like the video player is moving in the right direction.
