IGN has published the 10 best PC Games of 2006, and Galactic Civilizations II has made that list!  Galactic Civilizations II earned an impressive rating of 8.7 from IGN,  and that also makes it it one of the highest rated PC games of 2006. 

The 2006 Year in Review article goes on to say:

"The AI in particular is one of the high points of the game, providing an experience that's as unpredictable and challenging as just about any we've seen in games of this type."
