Now democrats are declaring this is not true, but would it surprise anyone if it were true?

Hamas met with a delegation of "important Democrats" who expressed interest in relations with the Palestinian terror group even if it doesn't recognize the right of Israel to exist, a Palestinian news website claimed today.

Maannews quoted a source in the Hamas-led Palestinian Authority stating the terror group felt it important to meet with members of the Democratic Party since, the Hamas source said, the party will likely win 2008 presidential elections.

And these are the people America voted for.

"Of course Americans should vote Democrat," Jihad Jaara, a senior member of the Al Aqsa Martyrs Brigades terror group and the infamous leader of the 2002 siege of Bethlehem's Church of the Nativity, told WND last month.

"This is why American Muslims will support the Democrats, because there is an atmosphere in America that encourages those who want to withdraw from Iraq. It is time that the American people support those who want to take them out of this Iraqi mud," said Jaara, speaking to WND from exile in Ireland, where he was sent as part of an internationally brokered deal that ended the church siege.

Kerry denied he met with the NV back in the 70s. Kennedy denied he had contact with the Kremlin in the 80s. So of course they are going to deny contact now.

I hope this isn't true.

Well given the democratic track record, it wouldn't surprise me.

Because democrats have a track record of meeting with enemies of the United States, just look at John Kerry for one example.  Most so-called palestinians support Hamas, so I don't consider most of them civilians.

Buncha hooey if you ask me. Palestinian propaganda to make people there feel that Hamas is going to be considered more legitimate in the near future. They are facing a civil war in the next few months if something doesn't change, so I guess they'll say about anything at this point.

Ted Kennedy for another.

a track record of meeting with enemies of the United States

let's not forget nixon meeting with vietnam ambassador bui diem in early summer 1968 followed by john mitchell (then nixon's campaign manager)franticly and deliberately conspiring with henry kissinger to sabotage ongoing peace negotiations during september and october 1968. as bui deim put it on 10/23/68 (in a cable to thieu intercepted by the fbi) "Many Republican friends have contacted me and encouraged us to stand firm. They were alarmed by press reports to the effect that you had already softened your position."

or the several documented attempts by reagan/george hw bush representatives to purchase concessions from the islamic terrorists ruling iran.
