Just wondering what IRC client people are using here. I'm looking for a good, and free one.

Mac - ircle, not free, but the best Mac one I've seen. Been using it for many years now PC - mIRC, xchat. mIRC is technically shareware, but you can use it for "free" forever. xchat is an open source chat client I'm using at work right now, I like it.

Icechat is another good one, and it is freeware.

I'm using Conversation for my Mac, it's great. I was just looking for one for the PC.

Oops, I misread the question (distracted), GAIM is my IM client, I use BitchX for IRC.

Opera version 9 has IRC built into an already good web browser.

I use Trillian because I like having IRC and my IMs in one program.

I really like HydraIRC. Free, great, it is my client of choice.

I need a DX IRC client that uses port 80 traffic instead of 6667. {Stupid corporate blocks!)

I could use that too. My school blocks 6667, and I don't want to lose my IRC capabilities for 8 months.
