What side are democrats on?

The other day Senator Ted Kennedy called Iraq, "George Bush's Vietnam. The very next day Al-Sadr, one of the leaders of the Iraqi insurgency said, "Iraq would turn into another Vietnam". I wonder where he got that from. It has been reported that the insurgents have been watching the news and have been keeping up with American politics, so it's no surprise that terrorists like Al-Sadr are encouraged by remarks by Kennedy and other democrats.

So why do democrats do this? It's no secret democrats have constantly undermined America in the fight on terrorism, so which side are they on? What is the real democratic agenda? They would love for the U.S. to lose this war, so they can go back to the days of appeasement and letting the terrorists run wild like they did in past administrations. They seem to be doing everything they can to help the insurgents fight the propaganda war. The terrorists in Iraq and around the world know that they can never militarily defeat the U.S., so they now try to swing public opinion which could then swing politics. Kennedy's comments hurt America, they hurt our troops, and they are intentional. America see's what people like him are about, and as usual, it will backfire in the democrats face.

Who would the insurgents, terrorists and Osama rather have as President? George Bush the man fought back against terrorism, or John Kerry, who would let the U.N. handle everything and basically stop the war on terror. I know the answer, and I will be voting for the other guy.
