Look, the MSM shows me a headline. The whole country is near civil war. No progress is being made. Pull our police out now. Four men were arrested yesterday after shootings in three locations east of Interstate 805 that began shortly after noon. At least 20 shots were fired, but no one was hit, said Bernard Gonzales, a Chula Vista police spokesman. The incident began at a home on Berry Creek Court, east of Interstate 805 near Olympic Parkway. Residents inside called police abou...

I see one of the usual radicals keep mentioning that there is civil war in Iraq. Although this person doesn't offer proof except for a MSM headline. These are the same people that never read about the real progress that is happening in Iraq. They feed of the biased headlines of the MSM. Also, Bush and the conservatives are not "going down". The only people who stand to lose is the democrats. After all these years they still haven't come up with real ideas, just more hate.

WASHINGTON -- One of the mysteries of the fumbling federal response to Hurricane Katrina has been why the military, which was standing by, and federal disaster agencies, which had pre-positioned supplies in the area, didn't move in more quickly and with greater force. Senior government officials now say that one major reason for the delay was that they believed they had to plan for a far more complicated military operation, rather than a straight-ahead relief effort. Accounts from loc...

WASHINGTON -- The money that led to the indictment this week of two Las Vegas pastors and the wife of one of them came from federal grants arranged by Sen. Harry Reid in September 2001, a Reid spokeswoman said Wednesday. Moving to distance Reid from a possible scandal, aide Tessa Hafen said the senator sought the money on behalf of a nonprofit social services agency and not for the churches or persons who have been accused of mishandling the money. WASHINGTON - The Democratic National Committee yesterday refused to distance itself from Rep. Charles Rangel's comparison of President Bush to an infamous Southern segregationist, Theophilus "Bull" Connor, remarks the Republican National Committee identified as "hate speech" and urged the DNC to repudiate. Speaking at a town hall meeting of the Congressional Black Caucus last week, Mr. Rangel - a Democrat who has represented Harlem for 35 years - lambasted the president's response to Hur...

Great article. Will the democrats understand this is where they need to be? Cindy Sheehan, whose son Casey was killed in action in Iraq on April 4, 2004, has become the face of the anti-war movement in the United States. While her grief is understandable, her rhetoric is outrageous. As the mother of a son killed in battle in Iraq, she originally struck a sympathetic chord, whether you supported the war in Iraq or opposed it. One cannot help but empathize with the agony of a bereav...

More stupidity from the left. NEW YORK -- This summer's back to back superstorms are proof positive we have entered a new period of "global warming emergency," artist/citizen Barbra Streisand warns. Streisand is back on the scene to promote her reunion disc with Barry Gibb. As hellstorm "Rita" churned in the Gulf, Streisand sat down for a promotional interview with ABCNEWS's Diane Sawyer. "We are in a global warming emergency state, and that these storms are going to become mor...

After Hurricane Betsy swamped New Orleans in 1965, President Lyndon Johnson... pledged federal protection. The Army Corps of Engineers designed a Lake Pontchartrain Hurricane Barrier to shield the city with flood gates like those that protect the Netherlands from the North Sea. Congress provided funding and construction began. But work stopped in 1977 when a federal judge ruled, in a suit brought by Save Our Wetlands, that the Corps' environmental impact statement was deficient.... Speak...

I'm sure the MSM will pick this up. President Bush fired back at ex-president Clinton on Thursday, saying his weak response to repeated terrorist attacks on U.S. interests during the 1990s encouraged al Qaida to launch the 9/11 attacks. "The terrorists saw our response to the hostage crisis in Iran, the bombings in the Marine barracks in Lebanon, the first World Trade Center attack, the killing of American soldiers in Somalia, the destruction of two U.S. embassies in Africa and the a...

It was reported that Mars is experiencing dramatic climate changes. This is obviously the fault of Bush because of his radical Mars environmental policies aimed at helping his alien buddies in the martian oil companies. It is our belief that mankind, and when I say mankind, I mean Bush and the necon agenda. Global warming on Earth is caused by the people of the Earth, so obviously global warming on Mars is because of martians. That makes sense, right? Link

I see the useless class warfare rants of the col about how the "evil rich" should support everyone in this country. I also was reading how Michael Moore said people should be taxed like 60% of their income. My question to everyone is, how much should your income be taxed? I say no more than 15%.

For the poll lovers. As debate continues to rage over government response to Hurricane Katrina, the public clearly thinks New Orleans Mayor Ray Nagin – not President Bush – is the one to blame, according to a new online poll by America Online. W ith more than 589,000 responses in today's unscientific survey, 65 percent of participants rate Nagin's handling of the Katrina disaster as "poor." Only 10 percent of AOL users said Nagin's response was "excellent," 13 percent called it "g...
