A new month means a new forum thread giving you the opportunity to post your desktop for other members to see.  We have quite a few desktops being shown already, and several are running the Prowler skin, which looks awesome. Head over to the forum thread and post your desktop!  

There has been quite a bit of DesktopX news over the past week, beginning with the opening of the Desktop Gadets gallery on WinCustomize.  Over the weekend, one of our DX whizzes, sViz, has started a feature called “ I Love DesktopX ”. She shows some featured skins created with DesktopX, and gives some tips and tricks to go along with them.  This is really fantastic and I hope to see more.

Friday is always a great day for content, and besides other features we can always count on Zoomba to give us Impulse Weekly.  Impulse Weekly is a newsletter with the latest info about releases, sales, upcoming titles, etc. on the Impulse platform. Some notable mentions are more THQ titles being released, a Kalypso media sale, and a peek at some upcoming updates.

The talk about Windows 7 is greatly increasing, and so are the questions about how skinning will be with Windows 7.  While it’s still quite early, and features in Windows 7 are still subject to change, Frogboy gives a great visual tours of some UI elements in Windows 7. One of the galleries that doesn’t get a lot of attention is the Sound Schemes gallery for SoundPackager .  While not as flashy as some other galleries, there have been some fantastic sound packages uploaded recently, and everyone should take a minute to check them out.
