Paul Thurrott shows Windows 10 users how to get the Windows 7 start menu with Starock's Start10.

“When I think about the experience of upgrading from Windows 7 to Windows 10, there is only one major area of concern from a user experience standpoint: the new Start menu. Yes, Microsoft should be applauded for listening to customers and bringing it back. And yes, I do feel that the new menu is both usable and better than the version in Windows 7. But for many users, and businesses nervous about training costs, this new UI could prove a bit too different from what they’re used to. Fortunately, there’s a fix.”

I saw the article by Paul Thurrot but wondered about another app that was recommended on another site.  I should have known better!  If Paul Thurott says something is good you can be darned sure he's done his homework.  But...the other app was free so I thought I would try it.  I've finally gotten it completely off my system.  It did not work well and it was not a clean uninstall.  Sometimes we're better off paying a few bucks for something that actually works the way it is supposed to.  In other words, we get what we pay for.  My system is now squeaky clean again which is the way I like it.  Thanks, Stardock, for giving us software that works the way it is supposed to.  Life is good and my computer thanks you too.
