this is just one big AMD advert so far...

And its wrong?

I mean, look at nvidia (gameworks) shi... stuff in games that makes them unplayable even if you have nvidia gpu, so i am happy that amd finally starting cooperating with game developers too.

Lol -- I'm with you -- who cares if the footage was provided at an AMD vs. NVIDIA vs. Microsoft, vs. whatever press event? They said there would be gameplay footage and it was in there.  I have not seen that particular footage before and it looked AWESOME.

I also thought it was great to hear what AMD has in store.  I'm an AMD guy and have been for a while now.  Can't wait to fire this game up with my 295x2 on Thursday and watch the fireworks ensue (at least until it crashes and I run to the forums to report it lol).

Once again, great job to Stardock and thank you for actually being able to communicate with an audience like normal human beings -- many of the other presenters.... left something to be desired in the public comm's dept...

Im a little bit disappointed.

What we have senn from Ashes of the Singularity ist the Same at GDC in March.

I like Ashes and my only Queation is:

This is the "early next Week" then, when starts the Alpha?

Did you watch the right video?  They said that Alpha is supposed to drop on Thursday.  Things could still come up I'm sure, but Thursday is probably it since they publicly announced it.

Looks pretty cool. First thought was "Star Trek New Worlds" on super steroids . Ok, maybe something better than super steroids, what ever that is. Looking forward to giving Ashes a whirl. on the weekend.

AOTS looks so much like Sins of a Solar Empire ( in a planet ), in so many ways even part of the UI is so much like sins.

Way to go Stardock/Oxide .

I thought the new line up of amd cards was pretty impressive the fact that you had a water cooled specific model and air cooled, that is very specific niche and very progressive to take that approach if you ask me.  Multiple product lines for the same thing cost extra so to kick out a high end costly card with a limited amount of users who can actually utilize it, most company's would scoff at the idea.   The whole line up is dx12 ready too.  I believe nvidia has only confirmed its 980 ti to be direct x 12 ready.   But i would imagine that lends it self to the whole architecture involved in the 900 series.

i will be running my mediocre 680 gtx from 1984.

Is the founders section closed off to founders only, will we be allowed to post fps test results and system specs etc ?  some games come out with there own ingame fps test i think sup com had one built in.

Yeah even though the presentation for AOTS was short it looks like the game looks great in terms of graphics.
