It’s so good they skipped Windows 9 altogether!

Windows 10 Preview will be available tomorrow.

I was thinking, where have I seen that terrible hairstyle before? Then it hit me.......

Was going to write a comment about the hairstyle...and maybe calling it MS 10 - The Bedhead Edition", but then...

There is no inconsistency. They have been using Nonary Base all along

looks like they added the "ugly tiny startmenu" where you have to click numerous times to open a prog, but still it shows a screenshot with the BIG one that looks like  Win8start (the only change is that the taskbar is visible on that one)

new clip function inc.  nice
will test it with a buddy tomorrow at uni campus

want to see the difference in performance – looks is secondary if you actually "work" with an OS + there is windowblinds to change that sooner or later
Edit: http://winfuture.de/news,83867.html
Has some more videos, also has one that shows the tiny startmenu in action (you can completely remove all pinned apps) think thats cool so i have to correct my comment before. it doesnt look cramped up at all.
http://winfuture.de/news,83626.html Shows that the win8 Starmenu is optional   amazing

Windows 10 destroys the right place designs in start menu by inserting the metro. The icons covers the entire menu which is something that should startdock make a little twist here.If stardock follow the direction of microsoft then this is not called customize for me.

I hope Microsoft will include a setting to turn off all live tiles on Windows 10.

And how do you explain 95 98 2000 ???  or 1 2 3 3.11 7 8 10 . ?? Thats not so nonary at all. Or do solve: NTMEXPVISTA How are themes names connected ? .

You see microsoft didn`t had any reason in the way they gave names or numbers in their systems.

I did just bought my notebook and id had 8.1 on it. Would have prefered 7 but did have to use 8.1 damn. 10 schould really be free since its like xp service pack 4 and xp without them.

I don't believe at all that Windows 10 will be going free.  I could be wrong, but I just don't see it happening.

That's what the word is windows 9/10 free to all those with win 8 and 8.1.  It's been on several tech pages.  I mean they would have to with win 8 only being a year old before they had to replace it.

I installed 8.1 this morning to make sure the key was genuine.  And you know what, it's not half bad.  I think I will keep it until 10 arrives.
