Fallen Enchantress: Legendary Heroes was released earlier this year and has proven itself to be a hit among fans of the series.  Players have been busy immersing themselves in the world of Elemental, building their empires with the characters you can create and customize.

Over the past few months we have released several DLC packs to keep the excitement going and provide more content for players. I run into people all the time who don’t realize these packs are available, or don’t know much about them. I wanted to take a bit of time and provide an overview of the DLC packs so players can know what’s available.

Remember, these DLC packs are for Fallen Enchantress: Legendary Heroes. If you don’t have it, get it here.

Map Pack DLC

This was the first DLC released for FE: Legendary Heroes, and as the name obviously gives it away, this is a pack of 5 new maps. Clash, Crucible, Dust Bowl, The Wildlands, and Anthys. These settings offer impressive variety, from a monster-filled map to a huge world twice as large of those in the game.

This is a great pack for players who want to go beyond the game's randomly generated maps.

Quest Pack DLC

Next up we have a DLC pack full of new quest items. FE: LH is filled with all types of creatures, items, weapons, etc. The Quest Pack builds upon that and adds even more variety and adventure to your game.

The Quest Packs includes many improvements: new weapons, armor, monsters, and events that lead you these new items. Most of the items included are unlocked through quests in the game, so I don’t want to give too much away as I personally enjoy discovering new things as I explore my world.

Loot Pack DLC

The latest DLC available is the Loot Pack. This pack includes 33 new items for FE: Legendary Heroes like a bunch of new weapons, rings, consumables, and more. If you’d like to see the full list with descriptions, take a look here.

All these items can be found while exploring the world and through designing your own custom sovereign. If you are a player who likes lots of content, this is a good one to start with.

if I may recommend, Robot Entertainment got things right with their Orcs Must Die 2 DLC.

Every pack contained new stages, enemies, and items. Something for everyone. I think it works out much better than just packs dedicated to just one field of the games content, IMO.

Or at the least, doing so moving forward from here would be a good way to help round out more content.

Repost? Seriously? Where is the discount for all 3 DLC packs? This is not good enough, hire someone better in marketing

on Oct 01, 2013

We should totally run a sale on all three. And I'll bring up OMD2 (what a great game in general, let's be honest here) as an example of well-done DLC, good call there.

island-dog, WHEN are you releasing  MORE dlc packs for fe/felh?

I already HAVE the three, and while they do add a bit to the games, the extras in loot and quest packs only show up rarely in my games, so are a bit disapointing.

I will soon get them all, on steam for 0.99p, so no worry's.

Damn... and here I thought this was going to announce some new stuff.  I can't imagine many frequenting this website/forum aren't already aware of your current DLC, therefore making a "DLC reminder thread" probably isn't going to increase sales very much.

If you really wish to sell more of your old DLC, you may want to try giving it a discount, even if just a temporary sale (as others have already suggested in this thread).  After all, this game is now on Steam -- the magical land of impulse buying (*especially* when there's discounts).  Might as well take advantage of that.

Anyway, already have the first 2; I still have *no* intention of getting the loot pack, perhaps until it goes on sale for at least 50% off... or more.  Really hoping any future DLC offers far more (in both quality and quanity) than the loot pack did, regardless of its price.

I would be interested in (more) DLC, but I have promised myself only to purchase DLC if at least some of the issues in the game are going to be addressed. The latest patch (1.4) seems very unambitious in scope and so I will be holding off for now.

I wouldn't mind but I only want the bunny slippers, lollipop and party-hat.

Hey! Stardock, how much you want for the bunny slippers, lollipop and party-hat?

Shoot. I also thought this was an announcement for more DLC. Kinda disappointed (though that's my own fault naturally ). I agree with the rest, if your going to set up DLC reminders like this, you should probably include some sort of discount. I imagine those of us who wanted to buy these at the current price already have, but what do I know? Maybe a bunch of people bought it because of this post

I'd also like to agree with the posts above regarding the content of DLC's. You should include a heap of different stuff. Loot, map, new cilization, new map resource type (GIMME LIZARDS MY TROOPS CAN RIDE ALREADY!), new unique units per civ, etc.

These are the DLC's people feel they "have to have" because it always includes something they want.

wow. tough crowd.

Nothing wrong with a repost. However, adding a little spice to the DLCs would have definately attracted more purchases from those on the fringe.

Yeah I might have been a little harsh, sorry.

To be fair, the title made it seem like there where more new stuff coming and people got excited which is understandable, though entirely our own fault and not Stardocks in anyway for us making the assumptions

It's called 'advertising'. The concept demands making the item you are selling appear more than what it is.

For sure, and I totally get that and as I said, we are the one's at fault. Just explaining why I thought what I did Might just be my inner optimist hoping for more and more content =3
