Since we don't have a wiki any longer, I wanted to at least have a place where tutorials and guides can be listed for easy reference.

At the bottom of all the forum pages it says "Wincustomize Wiki" Since that link doesn't work and the Wiki is gone will the location of all the links posted here replace the Wiki link? If not where may it be viewed other than this thread?
You say that more tutorials will be added. Is that just for how to use the present and any new apps or other tutorials will be added to a specific app such as WindowBilnds for example.
I have to agree the Wiki was very much out dated and not very useful. Saying that I have directed many people to one tutorial. That was to the making of a WB. It was done by Vampothika (Kitty). I know it was a win 7 tutorial but most win 7 WindowBlinds work very well on win 8. This is only a suggestion if newer tutorials are going to be added.
Those links will be removed when the site devs have time. For the time being, the forums will be the only place to view them while we look into things.
I've added WB tutorials today. I'm not going to put up outdated guides, so most will be new or ones that are relevant. Suggestions welcome.
I believe gmc2 has those assets, and we're talking to get them put up.
Spencer, thank you for the reply.
Wait...what? What exactly happened to the wiki and are all the articles that were written for it essentially...cyberdust?
The wiki server had . . issues. and the content hadn't been updated in a very long time. Content that is still relevant may migrate to something else.
I'd hate to see all the DX tutorials scrapped, as they were really helpful to point to whenever I got requests for help. Given the recent news about DesktopX, they aren't really outdated, either. Well, at least RomanDA's stuff is still available elsewhere and those covered a lot of ground. Probably time to make an appointment with the wayback machine.
ETA, I understand the decision to let the wiki go. It really didn't have enough contributors to maintain and update it after the first few years. But it is still important to have a central place to collect/access tutorials for SD products so I'm glad this effort is being undertaken.
Updated with latest articles.
Notice that the skinstudio tutorials are not a part of this list. Even realizing that these tutorials were made for a different version it would seem that they would still be helpful to those attempting to understand the product?
I love this stuff. Always a surprise.
