I do not like Windows 8. Therefore, I would prefer if Stardock would focus less on Windows 8 than on fixing bugs in WindowBlinds, IconPackager and so on for Windows 7.

I do not like Windows 8. Therefore, I would prefer if Stardock focus more on making it better. Nah, I know where you are coming from vwaldbrun, Stardock will have their work cut out for them as W7 is probably going to persist as long, if not longer than XP did when Vista and 7 came along.

Worry not, WindowBlinds and Deskscapes are on our list for updates too and you can expect Windows 7 users to gain things with the new versions.

Incredible. I believe i entered another world where bad taste reigns. No disrespect for the application itself, but seriously, that is what is called 'beautiful' nowadays?

Garish colored blocks that clash with anything known to man on a hardly visible background.....

They are Modern UI applications and have their own tiles with predefined colours.

The tile colour option in Decor8 relates to tiles for non Modern UI applications.

Thanks for the quick answer Neil i hope there is a workaround for this in the near future

Could Stardock change the ration by which the background moves relative to the scroll? e.g. we could have 1:1 scrolling, put a nice glass 'shelf' background image behind the tiles and sliding them would slide the background making it feel like the whole thing is sliding at once?

This is something we added earlier today in fact for the next update.

Nice job, Brad and Neil.........You are even getting good feedback over at Neowin..........That takes some doing against a tough crowd over there!

Now put Dreams in the background instead of wallpaper

Maybe totally unrelated, but I notice that since installing this, I have a few blank tiles.

That will be unrelated to this.

I haven't made the move to Windows 8 yet, but with this program and Start8, I'm seriously thinking of putting it on my touchscreen at least. It wasn't going to be an option until I knew Stardock was going to be able to develop probrams for W8.

Being a heavy Rainmeter user, I had the look of W8 on my desktop with the Omnimo suite http://omnimo.info/ two years ago, so for me, W8 didn't look like anything new to me!

Thanks Stardock!
