I have made a new build and hopefully we can do another update soon, though due to SDC limitations it has to be called 7.42 rather than 7.41.
Seems to me that SDC issue needs to be fixed. Just my two cents. It seems to create a lot of confusion.

Actually, Jim, it was more confusing when a new build/update was released with the same number as the last, imho.

I don't see that as a bad thing. Thank you for staying on top of things. I don't use Firefox but it's nice to know  that even little details get looked into.

Would the new build fix this Pale Moon issue (using Ghost Light skin)?

on Jul 13, 2012

can it be installed on a secondary drive?

Nope.

*Just to frustrate you.

Yesterday, the system tray alerted me to a WB 7.41 update. I started SDC, selected WB 7.41 and clicked uppdate. After the required boot, I assumed that WB 7.41 was installed. This morning I got another alert that there was a WB 7.41 update??? I checked the installed WB and found that WB 7.4 was still installed.

I started SDC again, selected WB 7.41 and clicked update, where upon SDC crashed!

I have recieved the new windowblinds update 3 times now via "Stardock Central" but it has yet to apply itself. I have gone as far as unloading windowblinds from memory to try and solve this.

Any suggestions would be appreciated in getting the update as I don't want to have to get heavy handed and uninstall WB and then apply the update. I just purchased the "Object Desktop" suite of programs last week and still have a re-learning curve to go through.

Thanks for any help anyone can offer.

P.S. I fixed the install on my machine this way, I unloaded Windowblinds and DesktopX which were the only Stardock programs running. I then went to the directory where the update was downloaded to and pressed the file to install it manually and after, I rebooted. The install went fine and I am now updated.

Just out of curiousity, after the first 'Install X items' did you click the 'tiny' install button?

Yes, I did that but it didn't install itself, it just froze after the download. Please see above for my edit, I was able to get it to install after doing it that way. Thanks for you're help
