Stardock has launched a new site for premium themes for users of Object Desktop.  These themes use the latest version of Theme Manager and offer an easy way to purchase and use premium themes.

To kickoff the new themes site, a new premium theme called IronWorks has been released!

that's really cool, there's a list of supported skinning apps?

I apologize for perhaps being a bit thick on this but I'm not clear on what to do if I already own a suite via MyColors. For example, Dragon.

I do not have MyColors installed at this time, but I do own Dragon (and others) purchased via MyColors.

If I now wish to install it, do I have to do so via installing MyColors, or can it be done via this new (or perhaps old) method using ThemeManager? If possible, I would like to have just ThemeManager and not both platforms, particularly as one is being phased out.

Thanks.

Nice site but I noticed a mistake

Only one of the screen shots for "Winter Wonderland" are of the actual theme.

The Windows 7 one is correct, the other 5 are from the "Winter Theme".

The screenshots (what sells the art) really need to be bigger, they are too small and distorted imo.

great site tho, best of luck with it.

I installed Ankh via ThemeManager and the preview pic is a desktop screenshot of the Stardock Design Release Schedule.

Pretty sure that is not what is intended.

The screeny on the site for the W7 version of IronWorks is identical to the Vista shot.

A lot, but not all, of the MyColors themes also had/have an unencrypted ThemeManager version available after purchase.  Check the link 2of3 posted in Reply #7 and see if Dragon has the extra download link.  What you're looking for is 2 download links on a single line for the MyColors theme, the ThemeManager version should be the one on the right.  Don't know for sure if Dragon came with the TM version.

Ironworks looks nice   (Might want to show off the icons and gadgets more in the preview? - C'mon, make me buy it ).

I forwarded by pm all problems up through reply #19 to KarmaGirl to distribute to where they should go for action.

Thank you for the tip. It appears as though a couple do have TM d/l, but some don't. It looks like Magic and Dragon don't for example, which are both featured with the new TM. They have a second d/l site, but it is for the extras such as gadgets. Gloss Grey and Burgundy do have TM d/l, but in TM they do not show a Windows 7 substyle (as Ironworks does) so I'm not yet clear on whether they are for Win7 or not.

I think I'll wait a bit and see what washes out over time. It looks like Stardock has their hands full right now and I have plenty to play with over the holidays.

I sent a PM to KarmaGirl about the theme release schedule showing as the preview screen.

I bet it's nice, but whoever is advertising this is not trying to convince me how cute it is. Better screenshots?

It seems there's NO discount for OD owners.

There's no reason both can't be installed if you have a large enough hdd you could easily partition it & make my colors install to that partition thereby keeping c free of any crap  ,however there is another issue you need to consider & that's theme manger vs object desktop,my advice subscribe to OD,since you have theme manager already you should be able to get a discount, why OD instead of theme manger, simply put more config including mix n match

Thanks, I have OD too. I run different things on different computers. I know both can be installed I am just hoping that Stardock does not expect me to do that, particularly when they have said they are going to phase out MyColors. I'll just wait to see what shakes out. Thanks though.
