Another bug I am having is after highlighting a cursor set, I have to click apply twice to get it to work in Windows XP 32-bit.  It has been doing this for ages too.

Gee, I wonder if anyone at Stardock has even read this thread since it was posted?

I couldn't use..this or any other version. Kills Windows Explorer and I have to reboot in safe mode to remove. It looks neat though. Sound packager won't work either.....it gives me an error trying to load sound theme. Maybe the problems are related..

so, when will we actually get a working version?  i mean, what, 2 or 3 years now i've had this app and it still doesn't work?  and conflicts with multiplicity pro, another stardock app?  i really want to know why we can't get a working version, with fixed bugs i reported over 2 years ago?

Might post in support section & link back to this article.  FWIW.

i have open support tickets, over 2 years old, that just stop getting responded to and all i hear is it's directX issue not cursorFX, so support on this product is kind of pointless now as it will never be fixed or working, wasted money

i wish they could atleast tell us what the stupid fixes are, since the major bug i know about hasn't been touched, but avoided!

I had to stop using CFX a while ago, had some nasty interactions with Picasa Photo Viewer. Sent in my specs to support and never got a follow-up. Needless to say, CFX lost out in the priority battle, and I don't really miss it (the 7 cursor isn't so bad). CXP was soooo much better.
