This is a fascinating special election between Scott Brown and Martha Coakley. This is to fill the seat of the late Ted Kennedy in MA, which was filled by him for 40 years. Way too long, but that’s another article for another day. Coakley is the MA Attorney General, and Brown is a State Senator. Since MA is one of the most liberal states in the U.S., and that Kennedy held the seat for so long, people assumed a liberal democrat would just be entitled to it. They were wrong.
Brown, a conservative republican has burst on the scene in recent weeks coming from trailing Coakley, to reportedly having a 9-point lead on her this morning. This has sent shock waves throughout the democrat party, even bring Obama out at the last minute in hopes to save her campaign which as been riddled with problems and controversies. Of course Obama coming to rally for another democrat isn’t what most people would call help, considering after just one year he is in the same position Bush was after 8. And as usual, his support speech was full of blame Bush, and the nonsense that only their brand of government intervention can save you.
What liberals don’t realize is that people don’t want Obama’s brand of healthcare, and they are finally waking up to the reality that Obama has made the economy worse. Dems are very concerned as Brown could be the one to throw a big wrench into the gears of their socialized healthcare plans, but once again, they don’t realize how unpopular they are at this moment. So of course Coakley has called in the union thugs from the SEIU, and no doubt the democrat fraud machine will be in full effect tomorrow.
Tomorrow, if Brown wins, we can finally start pushing back the the Obama agenda which has done nothing good for America.
