This is a fascinating special election between Scott Brown and Martha Coakley.  This is to fill the seat of the late Ted Kennedy in MA, which was filled by him for 40 years.  Way too long, but that’s another article for another day.  Coakley is the MA Attorney General, and Brown is a State Senator.  Since MA is one of the most liberal states in the U.S., and that Kennedy held the seat for so long, people assumed a liberal democrat would just be entitled to it.  They were wrong.

Brown, a conservative republican has burst on the scene in recent weeks coming from trailing Coakley, to reportedly having a 9-point lead on her this morning.  This has sent shock waves throughout the democrat party, even bring Obama out at the last minute in hopes to save her campaign which as been riddled with problems and controversies.  Of course Obama coming to rally for another democrat isn’t what most people would call help, considering after just one year he is in the same position Bush was after 8.  And as usual, his support speech was full of blame Bush, and the nonsense that only their brand of government intervention can save you.

What liberals don’t realize is that people don’t want Obama’s brand of healthcare, and they are finally waking up to the reality that Obama has made the economy worse.  Dems are very concerned as Brown could be the one to throw a big wrench into the gears of their socialized healthcare plans, but once again, they don’t realize how unpopular they are at this moment.  So of course Coakley has called in the union thugs from the SEIU, and no doubt the democrat fraud machine will be in full effect tomorrow.

Tomorrow, if Brown wins, we can finally start pushing back the the Obama agenda which has done nothing good for America.

BREAKING NEWS:Republican wins Mass. Senate seat previously held by Ted Kennedy

http://news.yahoo.com/s/ap/us_massachusetts_senate

Margin too wide to fudge, late surge by Brown caught ACORN by suprise - unable to mobilize in time.

Watching MSNBC has been awesome.  Having to announce the 'irresponsible, homophobic, teabagging, woman-hating truck driver' as winner.  Telling the Dems to double down on the healthcare bill - it must pass within 30 days, no matter how they rig it, or it's curtains.

Oh, it's getting better - KO just spewed a pre-commercial teaser that he has to apologize for 'some remarks I made last night' - this should be good.

How could I have expected otherwise - KO did no such thing, he tripled down & said he should have added 'sexist'.  Then launched into another of his patented diatribes, basically calling Brown 'horribly unqualified' to be a senator.  They are not broadcasting Brown's victory remarks, even though they broadcast all of Coakley's concession speech, then bashed her for 'mailing it in' & conceding 'even before the AP had called the winner'.  Oh, the horror.

This is great.

I watched Maddow (at the bar, nobody but her looked unhappy) couldn't take any more so I didn't wait for KO.

Mass. senate seat returns back to it's early 20th century status by a 5% margin.

And Keith just won't let it go, repeating and (falsely) justifying each of his pathetic allegations again tonight.

Keith should really be quite happy, if he were capable of logical thought.  For if his accusations were true, Scott Brown would be the perfect replacement for the 'Lion of the Senate' - with all the same 'qualifications'.  For all I know, even the 'T'-bagging part.

Hell, those were Ted's redeeming qualities.
