A few weeks ago we announced the one millionth Impulse customer had been reached, and that lucky person will receive a high-end gaming rig, along with other cool goodies from Stardock such as copies of games such as Demigod, Gal Civ II, and Sins of a Solar Empire.

The winner was James from Illinois, and I certainly am jealous at the PC he is getting.

  • RAM: 12 GB DDR3/1600 MHz Corsair
  • CD:  Sony 5X Blu-Ray Player/DVD-RW Burner
  • Power: 1,000 Watt Power Supply
  • Video: 2xATI Radeon 4870x2 in Crossfire

  • Sound: Creative Labs SoundBlaster X-Fi Fatality Pro
  • Speakers:  Logitech Z-5500 5.1 Surround System

Having sat in front of the PC while it was running the other day, I can also say that it's ridiculously quiet.  This system is a thing of beauty.

He sent you guys a picture once he received *it* all, or what?

Strange how Logitech keyboards have evolved over the last three weeks, don't you think... certainly, looks like 64 bits will never be fast enough for James' Scared2:Fallen Angel & bonus boxsets either!

Congrats again to James!!!     When I saw this post and the image of the new kool pc with the games, it came to my mind that a kooler looking background to show off what James won could have been created, rather then just the office setting.
