I say let Obama do what he wants. Our world has survived worse things, just let him do his thing and let those who believe in him see the results of their choice. We can not always avoid natural disasters and all we can do is rebuild afterwards; we may as well do the same with Obama. Perhaps a major change in the way things are done is what we need to open our eyes and and realize that the real change we need is to get rid of this current set of useless people we call politicians and get ourselves some real deal people who can truly make a difference for the better.

Daiwa, many of the lefties that complained about the Republicans for spending so much are now thumbing there noses at the Republicans who are speaking out about this massive increase in spending/deficit.  Their response is because the Republicans did it, gives them the free ticket to do the same just exponentially. 

Self preservation (politically) seems to trump best interest of the country since Clinton when the conservatives and Clinton balanced the budget.

This is another "we told you so".  Many of us said it was just a matter of time before the government starts helping people with their car payments.

Agreed but I have to agree with the Democrats on this one point.  Who are the Republicans, to lecture the Democrats at spending?  Many of the Republicans are in the position of Do as I say not as we did.  To this I concede the point.

On the flip side I'm not going to dismiss the hypocricy of the Democrats either.  They criticized the Republicans and Bush for their spending and now are dwarfing the previous administrations spending!
