I have a 22" widescreen and a 19" widescreen for my desktop PC's.  I'm very tempted to replace the 19" with another 22", but I'm still a bit undecided.  I would like the bigger screen, just not sure if it's worth the investment right now.

What size monitors do you have on your desktop, and do you plan to upgrade anytime soon?

A HP w2207, 22" widescreen LCD. At 1680x1050 it's by far, the clearest, brightest color I've seen in a monitor.

19" Samsung Fullscreen w/DVI input.  I want to upgrade to a 22" widescreen, but my current monitor works just fine. Paying $300+ for 3" of extra space doesn't seem worth it right now.

Funny thing, since both of my  LCD monitors were stolen on Friday and all I had left in the house, hidden under a bed, was a 14 inch CRT, I had to rush out Saturday and buy something to fill the void until homeowners settles up. My main monitor that I used everyday was a Samsung 910 19 inch 1280x1024 and my new one was a 22" Dell high resolution 1650x1050. MicroCenter only had one 19" standard LCD in stock and I got it for under $200 and I swear it has a better picture than my $500 Samsung had and its a generic brand,HANNS-G. I really wasn't that fond of the22inch but soon, wide will be all that is available.

An Alienware 2880x900 curved monitor

Yeah, I could see having half dozen of those curved monitors sitting on a circular desk, with me in the middle on my swivel PC chair....with WC on one; devArt on another; Impulse open on another; spider solitaire on another; working apps on the fifth and the Playboy site on another.....

26" widescreen HD TV /Monitor. Love it!  1360 x 768. I wish the resolution could be changed. But I like it pretty good as is. Especially when I want to flip inputs and see the scores of the games, while working...lol. Nice to have a tuner built in to your monitor.

I use two Acer screens on my Vista machine, a 22" and a 19", both widescreen plus i run Ultramon. I also use two 19" LG screens for XP machine, but only one of those are WS. I don't bother with Ultramon on that one.

I too would like to get a 2nd 22" then i could get rid of the non WS LG screen that is now about 3 years old.

And.....Holy Crap!!! I want that Alienware screen...

1600x1200 @85hz, native resolution NEC Multisync fp2141sb.  The ultimate in 22inch CRT's.

A rock solid picture that compares with an LCD for stability, contrast that makes your LCD's look like crap, and no jaggies!

It's gonna suck to upgrade to a widescreen flatpanel in the next year or so, maybe I'll get lucky and they'll come out with something that's good for watching movies and playing games on.  Even an NEC wont last forever

Dell 22" widescreen 12" on my laptop.

I have 2 LG 22" monitors. Highly recommend a two monitor set up. I started with a 19" and a 15" and have slowly upgraded over the years. I don't think it matters on the size of your secondary. Though it depends on what you use it for. I mainly use one main monitor and throw windows I'm only glancing at on the secondary (emails, web search keepers that I want to get back to later etc...)

I have two 22" mainly because I got a BIG tax cheque and as I don't have a girlfriend and I already have a nice car I really didn't have anything else to spend it on. I would suggest sticking with a 22 and a 19 unless you had a specific reason to (i.e. your 19" blows up) or you can forsee yourself actually using the space on a second 22.

anyhow, that's my $0.02

17" IBM G74 CRT monitor. Nothiing fancy, but does it's job. Funnily enough, its hooked up to a GF9600GT, so i thinks it's like pulling a haycart with a Ferrari
