I am also working on this...my new DX Theme called the pod.
They don't show when running , but I went ahead and went w/o anyway. Gonna give it a try now. See if it makes it past the mod.

I'm making good use of the new layer feature in SKS. Just about everything in this skin has a layer! Also doing a 'clean' substyle without any textures. All I have to do is simply turn off the layers I added...easy! I love layers!
patrick24 there are always nice skins being shown by good skinners here.
I find though that from what you are showing with Ancient that you have just raised the bar a notch,
If I were a skinner I think I would just throw my hands up and surrender. Lucky for the rest of the community I'm not a skinner.
